This Advanced Research Workshop (ARW) aims to bring together scientists and early-stage researchers from NATO and Partner countries to discuss the advancements and future perspectives in Biotechnology and Human Enhancement. The main idea is to track down a roadmap that might help bring innovative applications to address the key and emerging challenges for the upcoming years. With 22 invited talks to be given at this ARW by world-recognized experts in the field, more than 10 posters will be presented by early-stage researchers. Moreover, this ARW will be a platform for exploring the collaboration opportunities between NATO and Partners countries, thus promoting an active exchange of young researchers, technological processes, and training. The latter will be deeply investigated during the ARW days to start thinking about the possibility of organizing a shared file that summarizes the main differences between the countries involved in the workshop. The AWR event will be organized so that top-level scientists and early-career researchers can discuss and share their contributions to the scientific community. The conference location has been allow all participants to reach San Felice Circeo Town easily. In addition, a fully equipped conference center enables the organizers to organize the ARW event efficiently in San Felice Circeo. After the event, a book in the NATO Science Series will be published so that the entire community will learn more about the importance of Biotechnology and Human Enhancement in modern society.
