

Gregory Frederick D.

Dr. Frederick D. Gregory is Army’s senior leader responsible for managing research portfolios, finances, and the workforce to execute the extramural mission of the Humans in Complex Systems Research Competency at DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory. Prior to this, he was Program Manager for the Neurophysiology of Cognition Program at Army Research Office and completed a 5-year detail in London leading the international Human Dimension Program.
He received a B.S. in Biology from Morehouse College and a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from UCLA. His dissertation research focused on the cellular mechanisms of exocytosis from the vestibular hair cell sensory ribbon synapse. He also completed post-doctoral training as an IRACDA Postdoctoral Teaching and Research Fellow in Pharmacology at Emory University and the University of Iowa studying the biophysics of Cav1.3 Ca2+ channels.
